naturally there is total outrage in our area over this disgusting act and our newspapers speak of international outrage. has anyone outside of canada heard of this story?
canada is often criticized for mollycoddling criminals and this story certainly supports that contention. michael vick was tossed in jail and was forced to declare bankruptcy over promoting dog fights and killing the losers. our asshole assassin received disability payments for the stress he suffered whilst slaughtering dogs.
100 dogs slaughtered in the name of profit.

When I saw the headline, I thought it must refer to something going on in East Asia. Very surprised that it could happen in Canada.
tex - the worst thing is it happened last spring and it was covered up until the culprit applied for disability.

I am amazed that things like this continue to happen. From what I read of the account, even the animals we slaughter for food are treated more humanely than how these dogs were handled.
I have a friend who is on the board of the local animal shelter. She related to me how many millions of unwanted animals are put to death each year.

This is almost as disgusting as some video I saw from China back in the 80s about how a "delicacy" they call "Peking dog" is made: They boil the poor bastards alive in big vats that look like beer distillery tanks on a factory floor! You got to wonder about the fuckedupedness of the world sometimes.
