everything is broken

the tomatoes are coming along like gangbusters. i counted 17 this morning and those were just the ones out in the open. i'm sure there are lots of bashful little fruits hiding behind the leaves. i was all set to take a few photos when disaster struck. the camera seems to be dead. i pressed the "on" button and nothing happened. i changed the battery and again nothing happened. i then whacked it and nothing happened so i then whacked the son of a bitch a lot harder and it almost came to life. when i press the on/off button, i get a few seconds of light. maybe i'll dunk the son of bitch in a pail of water and see what happens. a new camera would be nice but i don't relish the thought of reading the instruction manual. life was so much easier when sonny was around.

i'm a little peeved with our bullshit media. the top story has been the shooting down of the malaysian jet. didn't those dumb sons of bitches lose a jet earlier this year???

the israeli bombardment of gaza continues unabated while we point fingers at putin and his merry band of rebels in the ukraine. we sneer at the russian media when putin denies any involvement but at the same time we lap up the bullshit israeli propaganda regarding gaza. i'd truly like to shoot the next prick who says or writes that palestinians rush to roof tops when they hear a building has been targeted by israel. i have some stronger opinions on the bombardment but i'm scared shitless of big brother monitoring me. let's just put it this way, my neutrality is waning and i'm beginning the question the righteousness of israel.

i love you sons of bitches.

The folks doing tomatoes here this year are reporting good results. In fact Mike's whole garden is going like gang busters and they are already canning some things.

Spirit would be happy if those fucking palestinians and israelis just killed each other off and be done with the lot of them.

I'll be away until Monday, the rest of you fucking monkeys are in charge while I'm gone.

Yeah, seeing little kids being killed and maimed does tend to make you begin to question the righteousness of the country that's doing it.

I liked the video, from Tulsa to Canada.

The biggest genocide in human history didn't occur in Nazi Germany, but on American soil.

100 million Native Americans (men, women and children) were slaughtered and lost their homeland.

tex - yes, and let's not forget israel's use of white phosphorus.

bill - 100 million? i think you must have double counted several times and then rounded up.

I got the figure off the internut so it must be true. But the number is arbitrary, the point is that our ancestors were a bunch of mother fuckers and we are not much better.

I think BBC is talking about the scooter boys and Argentinians...

I'm surprised nobody ever told me about this guy. He seems to have figured the whole thing out!

Evidently marmite works wonders.

This guy has a different view on the Gaza conflict - hope he doesn't raise your blood pressure too much. I'm disappointed you could give us a picture of those tomatoes. There's nothing better than ogling fat juicy fruit!

billy pilgrim said...

thims - farmer who?

gb - the man is very selective in his comments. it's an op-ed piece, not a news story. at least that's the way i see it.

Billy, my friend, with regards to the Israeli/Palestinian land [and other issue-related] conflict, matey, as you're no doubt aware, Israel is sponsored to the tune of something like $10 million/day by the good old US of A. Today the death toll of Palestinian women and children, all of whom were civilians, not to mention Hamas fighters reached 800+. I saw footage of a young Palestinian baby fighting for it's life in a Palestinian hospital. The poor mite's mother had been killed in the brutal and indiscriminate bombing by the Israelis. The baby's mother, despite being dead, was given a c-section. Yeah, I know, you could perhaps say that this is all media propaganda, but, when Israel goes on the offensive, my friend, the outcome is not too dissimilar to that of when America goes to war. All gung-ho, and big-time 'shock and awes'. Rock 'n roll, eh. Now, I'm no expert, here, but why won't Israel sit around the table with Hamas [who, naturally presently decline] and agree to give the Palestinian people their land and land-rights back? Easier said than done, I know, but if America weren't so supportive of Israel, then perhaps this'd happen. The world is condemning Israel, yet Israel's still free to continue its onslaught of unacceptable brutality and murder. Yeah, Russia's causing problems in the world - and I daresent say that Putin's behind that, but who knows. Tommies ain't my thing at the minute, sorry, mate, but I’m fascinated by the account of yours. :-P Farmer who? Now, young man, that’s not nice, not nice at all, and I’ll accept your apology when you’ve come to your senses and have the decency to be man enough to stand-up-and-be-counted and proclaim, “Farmer Jed Giles, a pig farmer if ever there was one. A farmer outstanding in his field!” :-P
Long live David Icke - wharra bloke, and God forgive and help save that young-gun, wanker, Timscool.! :-P Nah, you’re OK in my book, Tims, just as fuckin’ long as you continue to educate and inform the masses in the manner that you do! Prick! :-P

To You & Yours, Including Your Tommies, I Wish You a Happy & Peaceful ‘Starry’ Night!

Take Care & Stay Lucky!

Peace [to Love, Life, Lyrics & Heat-waves],

Farmer Giles, always glad to help [especially in a crisis of conscience].

Bombs, rockets, bullets and corpses
Just another of man’s resources
To oppress the weak and wretchedly poor
A tool to firmly confirm and assure
That evil reigns control the reigns

I am your tomato
You are my daddy
Nurture Me
I need your love

I respond when you sing
You dance and do your thing
Water me, oh yeah
I need a rampant life

Do tomatoes feel pain?
It’s all apart of the game
Sing to me daddy
I’m your little laddie

Manure me fair and square
I need to develop some hair
I’m a 21st Century tomato
And you’re no imparato

Farmer Giles, always glad to share a
bit it of good ole blues.

farmer - i've clicked on your link several times but have been told to fuck off, there is no blog.

that whole hamas/israel situation is pretty sad. israel has created a ghetto in palestine just like the warsaw ghetto in ww2. at least that's my simplistic view of the situation.

and the tomatoes are coming along like a house on fire. i was checking them out this morning when a big bumble bee paid a visit and it made my day. i'm happy as a clam.

Farmer Giles said...

Billy, my friend, my blog's been taken down for some barmy political reasons. I'm trying to get the situation sorted, mate! :-P Yeah, the whole Israel/Palestine conflict's one of the saddest that's existed in the last 60+[?] years. I've followed it for quite some time now, and the whole situation's so sad and insane that it beggers belief. We're talking about life, here. Glad to here about your Tommies', matey. Good 'Tommies' are the result of a good carer - at least that's what me old grandad used to say! Singing and talking to 'em is all apart of their development!:-P

This may sound ironic, but we're seeing more bees over here. Were over our old folks on Wednesday and whilst sat in their garden, must've seen around half-a-dozen? Perhaps we can save the world, or perhaps the world ain't ready to die!

i didn't get to where i am today by hunting for pigs that have been removed.

PS Oh yeah, Billy, those fuckin' Germans won The World Cup! :-P

Glad to hear the tomatoes doing great. I think all that money we send to Israel could definitely be going to some better places. It's a sad state of affairs over in the Mideast right now. Take care BP.

billy pilgrim said...

thank you mr shife. i'm trying get a good used iron dome to protect the tomatoes.

Dr. Kenneth Noisewater said...

I'm so bad about keeping up with the news and understanding what's going on in the world. Let's put it this way: I'd rather read about your tomato plants than read about ANYTHING going on in the middle east.

Also, I never knew who the guy in your picture was, but I just wrapped up "Deadwood," so now I know. Watched all three seasons to learn that it had no finale. Felt like doing the sex act with someone and not getting to finish.

billy pilgrim said...

mr noisewater - congratulations on watching the finest series ever produced for television. yes, like most series, deadwood tails off after the first 2 seasons.

I personally wonder what would have been the view and action taken by Yasser Arafat with regard to the conflict in Gaza.

horace - it's quite amazing that no one is criticizing egypt for their blockade of gaza. in fact i'll bet the average bloke doesn't know about the egyptian blockade.

BBC said...

I don't give a fuck about any about egyptian blockade, I give a fuck when my guts get blocked.

dora - yes, new guests are nice. i just hope the king (bbc) doesn't scare them off.

thims - i suspect my signalling mechanism has been cracked by CSIS and the mossad. i'm treading on thin ice.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the so-called Egyptian blockage of Gaza, land that belongs to Egypt? I think so, but may be wrong. This is about the murder that Israel is committing against the people of Palestine and land-rights. Israel is fully supported by America. This is a crime against humanity and is both morally wrong and illegal.

Having read some of your comments from other intellectuals, it would appear that I am one of the new people who has dropped by and been classed as being part of your flock. That is fine by me. This may be a reciprocal learning process for your readers, that is if they are prepared to hear me out. I meet people like BBC everyday. He is a welcome adage and welcome pupil to my school of knowledge and thought, as are you all. All you have to do is give my words of wisdom some serious thought, and be pleasant and polite in response.

horace - who the fuck knows who owns the land egypt is blockading. every time i think i have it figured out, something new pops up.

old bill can be a tough pupil to deal with. if you can work his cock into your lessons, he'll probably pay attention.

farmer - is pebbles the princess? i've been unable to access your award winning blog so i'm not up to speed on the pending birth of your heir.
