i can't remember what planted the seed in my mind but a few weeks back i became entranced with LED light bulbs. the little buggers cost a small fortune at our local stores so it was off to ebay. i have ordered several of different wattage since the fascination began and today was my lucky day. the first little soldier arrived in the mail, a 5W bulb shaped like a normal light bulb. i say this because they come in several different shapes and configurations. i'm expecting some different types any day. lucky me.
i replaced a standard 40 watt bulb with the 5 watt LED bulb and so far so good. nothing has exploded and the 5W LED bulb is at least as bright and maybe a bit brighter. it also doesn't get hot which is good. no sense wasting electricity producing heat that i don't want. i can hardly wait for the 3,7 and 9 watt bulbs to arrive. once i test all the different wattages and shapes i'll order a 10 pack.
does anyone have the phone number of the pope's mother? it seems that son of a bitch is DARING ME TO SWEAR AT HIS MOTHER. i hope he doesn't chicken out and send the swiss guard after me after i make the call.
i have a raunchy deadwood clip i'm dying to post but for now i'll chicken out go with a possibly top 10 video:
i love you sons of bitches.

A 5w LED puts out as much light as a regular 40w? Man, that sounds great, I'm all about saving money.
Yeah, the pope sounds like he's trying to start something, I'll try to get you that phone number, I want to see how this turns out.
according to the ads they're supposed to last about 20 times longer than a normal bulb.
i'd have a lot more confidence going up against the pope if ruby had my back but i'm counting on the son of a bitch to "turn the other cheek" after i land the first blow.
I've been a big fan of led bulbs for years, but as you know, I make my own.
The bulbs you buy depend on the grid always being there but the bulbs I make can run off of a car battery if the grid goes down.
The led light over my desk has been burning 24/7 for at least five years now, and shows no sign of giving up yet.
yeah, the ads say these bulbs can last up to 10 years. i recently bid on and won a box of 10 bulbs but then i read the description and it said 220V so decided not to go through with the order. there's a pissed off nine iron somewhere.
There used to be pocket calculators with LED displays, but now they're all LCD which uses less power. I never realised that energy saving light bulbs used LEDs. Do your light bulbs look like this?
I would be interested in taking one of your bulbs apart to see how it is made.
gb - i think led uses a little less power than lcd. my led tv is cooler than the old lcd tv.
king - go to ebay, they have pictures and diagrams of most bulbs for sale.
you can buy a corn hole bulb.
I know that many of them look different, Swains' has a new led bulb display, maybe I will buy one of the cheaper ones to take apart.
If an led goes out on one of my lights all I have to do is replace that one led, not the whole light.
Be sure and get that 'selfie' shot of you and the francis.
Leds are nice - my studio bulb is 4 years old.
Haven't been to a zoo in years. If you don't count living here(smile).
king - i paid 80 cents for a 3W bulb.
dixie - francis doesn't have an image in mirrors or show up in pictures. but he's got a lot of cool stuff in his basement.
"king - i paid 80 cents for a 3W bulb."
I guess the light output of a candle is worth 80 cents.
It makes me wonder what the heck I will become obsessed over when I retire. Right now it's beer. Good luck with the lights, BP. Have a good one buddy.
Yeah - I've seen a few pics of the basement stuff. Bizarre-o!
Oooh, which "Deadwood" clip were you going to go with? It was weird how the one guy would get all of his best plotting and conspiring done while getting a beej.
kenneth - i've posted the clip. yes, al could certainly wax poetic whilst getting serviced by dolly.
