i bought a small rip van winkle jug and immediately fell in love with it so the hunt was on for a large jug. as luck would have it the shop happened to have one in stock but i ran out of luck when i tried to haggle. it's easy to haggle over unpopular jugs but the shop keeper wasn't willing to haggle over rip. meet the ripper, he kinda makes me thing of gandalf.

Back to your last post...I haven't seen my mugs like this for a while. Ok I recall anther one...I have a cowboy one. Done up I would sell them in price range of $20.00
I also quite a few molds of booze decanters

yellowdog - i actually speak to them in the evening after a little fishing.
dora - i've paid anywhere from $10 to $75 for my jugs. i'm told some of the rarer ones can cost a lot more.
maybe if i was still drinking i'd find out just how good are for beer etc.

Rip is looking pretty good these days. I always liked that story. When I was little I used to fall asleep wishing I would wake up a hundred years later, all grown up.
