return from exile

after 2 years in exile sonny returns to the big smoke tomorrow. sonny was unable to land a job in vancouver when he finished his master's so he took a job out of town and after 2 long years he's managed to get transferred the vancouver office. as of tomorrow vancouver will have one more geotechnical engineer. happy days are here again!

it seems i'm not the only firefly fan out there so here's the MUST HAVE COMPENDIUM OF KNOWLEDGE FOR FIREFLY FANS.

study it carefully, this information is very useful in traffic jams or in motor vehicle office queues. i find it especially helpful in communicating with the lovely mrs myshkin.

i've settled on carnivale for my pre-betime treat.

this one's for you sonny

i love you sons of bitches.

An awesome song!

Glad to hear that Sonny is coming back! Its hard to believe that its been that long already, though probably not for you. The picture of you and young sonny is great. I'm assuming that other fellow is your dad. It will be nice to have all the pilgrim men together.

I love the compendium! Thank you. I've decided to study and use them regularly. lol at your comment to BBC. Perfect!

Carnivale is a great choice. Makes me want to brave my ire at them taking it off too soon and watch it again. Such great characters.

I found an interesting BBC America show recently called "Bedlam". Nice if you like sorta spooky stuffs.

It's always great to get the kids back near home. Wish I could get mine closer. Never cared for Firefly. Loved Carnivale- wish they had concluded it though.

'Holy Testicle Tuesday' sounds like something Robin said to Batman. Or would have said if he'd had a pair.

Enjoy your weekend.

bill - i think you'll like the firefly phrases.

mr shife - i think the sons of anarchy is going downhill, almost turning into a soap opera.

yellowdog - audra does rock. she can pull off acapella songs like nobody's business.

silly - after each episode i'm going to read the summaries. the first time i watched it i couldn't figure a few things out.

bob - maybe you should give firefly another chance with the chinese compendium by your side.

gb - malcom and river could show batman and robin a few things.

tex - uber cool!

Firefly? Where have I been? But, oh happy days--Sonny's returning home! Glad for you BP. :)

Hope Sonny has happy days ahead, dude. I suggest the Stargate SG 1 series of shows. You watch them in order and it's very addictive viewing. I really liked that show and have every season. My sis let me borrow the entire "Firefly" show collection- not to imply there were that many episodes to begin with. Anyway, I agree with you. I liked that show, too. Very creative how they blended like a western type theme with Sci-Fi. It's a shame it was dumped. I did like most of the movie "Serenity" from that show.

The wife and I streamed "Firefly" the other day hoping it would hook us. It didn't. Perhaps we are still in grieving over the end of "Mad Men" and everything else comes up short.

We are wallowing our sorrow in "Arrested Development" at the moment.
